Master thesis - Taxis, Fleet Management and the Internet of Things
In this thesis, you will integrate an OBD2-dongle with our system via a smartphone. This enables a very accurate taximeter reading in the Driver App, but will also give customers access to useful vehicle data, such as fuel consumption, error codes, and rate of speed.
The purpose of the work is to give our customers increased control over the condition of their car lot, how much they drive, and their environmental impact. By intuitively presenting data we help the customer optimize his or her business and become more environmentally friendly.
This work entails the development of a suitable model in which to store data, for example, ElasticSearch, as well as developing models for how the data is to be visualized and developing a proof of concept in JavaScript and HTML 5.
