How can I configure my tariffs?

TaxiCaller’s dispatch solution supports many different ways of calculating prices for a ride. The different parameters for calculating prices include geographical zones, time of the day, day in the week, distance and total time for the trip. Please note that only the dispatcher, driver or the system can choose which tariff to apply. Having said that, you can make arrangements with your passenger on how you go about the pricing for the trip and then you can apply it on dispatch or from the Driver App.

Your tariffs can be set and configured by going here: https://admin.taxicaller.net/admin/tariffeditor.php

For a detailed step-by-step guide on setting up your tariffs, please see the manual here: http://www.manula.com/manuals/taxicaller-nordic-ab/admin-panel/1/en/topic/tariffs-s?q=tariffs
If you will be using zone and flat tariffs, you need to go through “Tab 1 Zones” and create tariffs zones. *Please note this is different from the “Zones” in the “Zones” section which controls the assignment. The tariff zones, on the other hand, determine your pricing.

If you will only be using Taximeter tariffs, please proceed to “Tab 2 Schedules.” In this section, it determines if your pricing is the same throughout your operating hours or if it differs on the time of booking (e.g. higher rate for night bookings than daytime bookings.) Once done, please click save and proceed to tab 3.

ON TAXIMETER: You can set your rate per distance on tab 3 of the Tariffs section here: https://admin.taxicaller.net/admin/tariffeditor.php Please click create under “taximeter.” Here are some details under this tariff type: http://www.manula.com/manuals/taxicaller-nordic-ab/admin-panel/1/en/topic/setting-the-taximeter-tariffs?q=taximeter+tariffs *Please note, S means seconds so you may need to convert.

Zone and flat: You can either set a zone tariff wherein you can use zone prices by setting up a zone in the center of a city and give this zone the lowest price. The other zones’ prices will be higher the further away they are from the city center, and thus the price of the ride will be more expensive since the cab has to drive outside of the city center or flat tariffs which are normally used for trips between cities. Here is a guide on setting up zone tariffs: http://www.manula.com/manuals/taxicaller-nordic-ab/admin-panel/1/en/topic/zone-flat-tariffs?q=zone+tariffs

Custom: You can create custom prices in the dispatch console and then manually enter the pricing you have agreed upon. Again, it is not possible to choose which tariff to apply from the Passenger App. You can choose “custom” by going to “Dispatch - New Job - Tariff” and select “custom” from the drop down and enter the amount.

Enable Tariffs: Once you have set up all your tariffs, please make sure you have enabled it by going here: https://admin.taxicaller.net/admin/settings/dispatch.php It is on “Tab 1 General - Payment Options - Tariff” then choose the correct tariff. You also need to check the in-app taximeter and new taximeter UI if you are using taximeter tariffs and wish to use the in-app taximeter.
