How can I configure taximeter tariffs?

TaxiCaller’s dispatch solution supports many different ways of calculating prices for a ride. One of which is the taximeter tariffs (rate per distance). You are able to set up your tariffs by going here: https://portal.taxicaller.net/dispatch/tariffs.

Since you won’t be utilizing zone tariffs, please proceed to tab 2 schedule. This determines the time when the pricing differs for example costs are higher for night bookings or on weekends. You need to add at least one schedule before you can establish the tariffs in the next section. The simplest schedule you can add is a single Standard one that covers everyday at all times. However you can also create different schedules to set up different prices depending on the day or the week or time of the day. Please save and proceed to the next tab > Tariffs.

Here you will need to add a name for your tariff and set up your currency and unit (metric or imperial). Then please click create under Taximeter. For a step by step guide on how to go about each field, please see the manual here: https://www.manula.com/manuals/taxicaller-nordic-ab/admin-panel/2/en/topic/setting-the-taximeter-tariffs?q=taximeter+tariffs

We also have support for adding waiting rate. The waiting rate applies only to the initial time a vehicle must wait for the passenger to board, after the status is set to wait in the driver app, either by pressing the button or by having it set automatically after a certain amount of time. Once the passenger has boarded, the traffic rate (if set) would apply whenever the vehicle stops (for example at a traffic light or a coffee shop). The wait rate is based on GPS information and no button needs to be pressed for it to start applying. For more information, please see here: https://www.manula.com/manuals/taxicaller-nordic-ab/admin-panel/2/en/topic/setting-the-initial-waiting-rate-for-a-ride?q=waiting+rate

After everything is set, please enable tariffs by going to settings > general here: https://portal.taxicaller.net/dispatch/settings/general and check “enable tariffs”
