What is the difference between "Caller-ID" and "Enable phone?"

The option “caller id” found in the User settings in the Admin Panel is only exclusive for the hardware desktop-phone callerid.com. The TaxiCaller softphone and “callerid.com” are not the same thing but the softphone has the ability to show the caller id in the dispatch console.

“Enable phone” option will allow you to have the input fields for your SIP login details appear. This is how you can configure the softphone. The specific details you need are the username, domain, port, password and for some providers, an outbound SIP proxy. The password is entered straight into the softphone inside the dispatch console.
