Why does the Envelope app fail to send messages and return an "engaged" dial tone?

If, when trying to send SMS notifications through the Envelope App, your messages fail and you hear the “engaged” dial tone. It’s likely that the Envelope App does not have permission to send SMS from the device.

Go to the permissions option in the app settings and ensure that the SMS PERMISSION is set to ALLOW. Once allowed, close the Envelope App and re-open it. Sign in and try again.
