As of now, “schedules and shift planning” is only a visual feature to make it easier if several people are using the Admin Panel. It is only intended for the back office to decide who should work at what time, but it does not enforce the rules. We are planning to expand on this functionality in the future and make it interactive.
The shift rules, however, do enforce the time you have selected, but it has no correlation to the planning/schedule.
The schedule you’ve made under "Planning > Schedules” can be added to the Shift settings where you can enforce the drivers only work within the schedule you’ve made.
