How do I set up Square as a payment option in TaxiCaller?

Square can easily be set up in the Admin Panel of your TaxiCaller account. Please refer to the instructions below to set up Square as a payment option in your TaxiCaller account:

Requirements: 1- The driver must have the credit card reader provided by Square (www.square.com) 2- The driver must have installed on his/her device the Square POS app: Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.squareup iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/square-point-of-sale-pos/id335393788?mt=8

How to set up Square in TaxiCaller:

  1. Go to the Admin Panel and press the “Settings” tab. Under “General – Payment Options” choose “Show Advanced.”
  2. Go to the option “Card Present” and select the option “Square.”
  3. Make sure the vehicles have the option “Card reader enabled” in the tab “Vehicles.”

Accepting Credit Card Payment (card present)

Once the passenger is dropped off and the driver confirms the price for the ride, the option “Card Present” will show in the Driver app as “Form of Payment.” At this point, the Square POS app installed in the driver app will pop up and ask for confirmation for the payment and for the passenger to swipe his/her card.
