What is the meaning of "hireable" and "hailable?"

If “Hireable” is unchecked, it means that you won’t qualify for any jobs entered into the system. For example, you can use this if you only want to track a vehicle, but not have any jobs go to it.

If you uncheck “hailable,” the driver of that vehicle won’t be able to press “Busy” to signal that he’s being hailed off the street.
