You can control which passenger details are visible to drivers in the Driver App, including whether the passenger’s phone number is shown.
Go to https://app.taxicaller.net/dispatch/settings/drivers. Under the Information shown in Driver App section, you can choose which passenger details should be shown or hidden from drivers.
Note: If you disable the Show Client Phone option, drivers will no longer see the passenger’s phone number and will not be able to call the passenger directly from their phone.
If you would like drivers and passengers to still be able to call each other without exposing personal phone numbers, you can instead route the calls through a SIP supported VoIP provider.
When using VoIP, calls are placed through your VoIP system, allowing drivers to contact passengers while keeping both phone numbers private.
Before setting this up, check with your VoIP provider to confirm that they support multiple users or extensions and that the VoIP line follows the SIP standard.
