How to get started with an API integration

As a first step, we recommend reviewing our API documentation to confirm that the functionality required for your project is supported:

https://app.taxicaller.net/documentation/api.html

Before granting API access, we review each planned integration to ensure it can be supported. Please contact [email protected] and provide an overview of your project.

When reaching out, include the following information:

What is your planned integration? Describe the system or platform you want to connect with TaxiCaller and how you intend to use the API.

Which API endpoints or calls will you use? Provide an estimate of which API endpoints you plan to use and how frequently requests will be made.

How many vehicles will operate through this integration? Include an approximate number of vehicles that will receive jobs through the API. Both for testing purposes and once live.

Important Note About AI-Generated Project Descriptions

If you use AI tools to help generate your project overview, please ensure the information is accurate.

We have seen cases where AI tools reference API endpoints that do not exist, which can cause delays during the review process.

Please verify that any endpoints mentioned in your submission are valid and documented before sending your request.

API Access and Pricing

API access is included as part of our Enterprise pricing package.

If your account is not currently on Enterprise pricing, API access may still be granted on a case-by-case basis, depending on the type of integration and the expected usage.

Once we receive your project overview, our team will review the information, provide the next steps and inform you of any relevant pricing information.

Testing

Once the terms are agreed and the project has been approved, we will provide credentials for access to a testing environment.

All API integrations, regardless of size, must be tested and quality-checked in the testing environment before being moved to production. This ensures that the integration works as expected and prevents issues from affecting live operations.
