An IVR is an Interactive Voice Response that Taxicaller uses with Twilio for customers to call in and make a booking.
This feature works by either:
If you have set up a custom location, i.e the airport, you can book the ride to go to the airport but the caller needs to be a customer and have a registered phone number and a registered home address where the pick-up will be scheduled from.
If the customer has stored the addresses for work and home, the pick-up or drop-off will be scheduled from there. The customer needs to have a registered phone number and registered their home and/or work address in their customer account.
If the customer forwards the call, the IVR will forward the call to the designated phone number, i.e the dispatch.
The IVR will hang up after saying the optional phrase, if any.
The IVR will start over and the client can put in their keypad options again.
