TaxiCaller Newsletter - March 2018
Recent releases
We've added some new features to the system, so we'll go over some of the main updates below to give you more detailed information.
- Taximeter data available in reports
From version 18.1.1 the driver apps will be able to upload taximeter data.
Now there are more options to customize your reports with the information that is more relevant to your business.
From the reports section in the admin panel, you can select the new taximeter options in the Editor tab. There are several new options to track the taximeter data such as driven distance, driven time, and many more with specific details.
You can see this feature in the admin panel here.
Follow these steps to start adding the new taximeter tags:
-
Go to the Editor tab from the Report section.
-
Find the option Select Report and click on the plus button.
-
Add the new taximeter tags that are placed in the Row Content Key section
-
Copy and paste the taximeter tag that you want to add in the Row Content section of your custom report and save it.
- Online bookings vehicle types from the company profile
To facilitate and organize the vehicles in your working areas, the vehicle profiles that are available in a specific booking area are based on the company profiles in the dashboard and not the owner account. This means that if you have two companies operating in different areas with different vehicle types, customers will only see the available vehicle types for the company with a service area covering the pick up point. To enable this feature all cars need to use the “Branded as” option in the advanced vehicle settings.
Please see this feature here.
- Street jobs: Added the option to enter the drop off address instead of the zone
To enhance the driver experience, you will now be able to enter the drop-off address for a street job in the Driver App. Instead of selecting from only zones, you will be able to specify the end point.
Soon you will be able to edit the destination address via the Driver App.
