When you use Stripe any passenger that wishes to pay by credit card can pre-register a card to their account (or select an already registered one) at the point of booking. At the end of the ride the driver simply enters the fare which is then charged to the client’s card.
How it works - *You are charged a fee per successful transaction. *Stripe charges 2.9% + 0.30 USD per successful charge. *You handle and control your account with Stripe fully yourself (their terms and conditions apply), and you simply authorize us to do transactions to your account
Set up
Register A. Sign up with Stripe through TaxiCaller by clicking the following link: https://app.taxicaller.net/dispatch/cardpay/gateway/connect B. Click on "Stripe connect" C. Complete the Stripe registration process
Once you’ve registered successfully, you click on “Activate account” under “My account” up in the top right corner. In the account activation view, you might be required to enter additional information about your company.
Note: If you see a message that says “Already connected to a gateway” then your account is already connected to Stripe.
