Can I dispatch from my phone?

Yes - TaxiCaller offers in-app dispatching through the TaxiCaller for Drivers App.

This feature allows drivers with dispatcher permissions to create and manage jobs directly from their mobile device. It’s especially useful when you’re away from the office but still need to coordinate bookings for your fleet.

What can you do from the Driver App?

With dispatcher access enabled, you can:

Create new bookings by entering:

• Pick-up and drop-off locations
• Date and time
• Passenger details

View jobs that are:

• Unassigned
• Assigned and active
• Assign jobs to drivers
• Cancel jobs if needed

To access this feature, simply open the Dispatch tab in the Driver App.

How do I enable this?

To use in-app dispatching, the user must be enabled as a dispatcher on their user profile. Select STANDARD or the desired dispatcher level in the “dispatcher” column.

For full dispatch capabilities - including advanced scheduling, automation, and complete operational control - we strongly recommend using the web-based dispatch system on a computer (Google Chrome browser).
