The system offers many different ways of specifying what payment was charged, both in terms of amount and payment method. You can configure which payment methods should be available for the driver to choose from. The driver then specifies the price charged and payment method used when closing the job.
Additionally, we also have support for integrating payment processors, both for “card present payments” and for “card not present payments.” This allows you to also charge the client directly through the TaxiCaller system. We use the provider Stripe (https://stripe.com) for “card not present payments” (also called in-app payments) and the provider SumUp (https://sumup.co.uk/) for “card present payments” (card swiping).
