Master Thesis - AI to Set Penalties in Route Optimization

In route optimization problems, you often have to define different penalties or costs. The solver's objective is to find the solution with the lowest cost for a given problem. The choice of penalties to measure and how to score them heavily impacts the derived solution. You will investigate how AI can be used to analyze historic solutions to fine-tune penalties and scores for the optimizer. A proof of concept is to be developed that will analyze and train on real-life data from school runs.
