We're Gazelles—Again!
It's that time of year again and Dagens Industri is touring Sweden acknowledging the country's gazelle companies. TaxiCaller has made the list for the second year running. What does it mean to be a Di Gasell?
The term gazelle company was originally coined by American economist David Birch to refer to young, fast-growing companies that have had at least four years of consecutive growth. Birch posited that more new jobs are created by small businesses of this type than large corporations.

In Sweden, Dagens Industri, the country's leading financial and business publication, knows that Sweden's growth is tied to investors who “dare to invest!” The organization recognizes the crucial role that gazelle companies play not just in job creation and economic growth but in inspiring future entrepreneurs to do the same.
We couldn't be more proud to be among the less than one percent of Swedish companies that meet Di Gasell's exacting standards and we're humbled to be considered role models in our business community.
"I'm very glad to be working at a modern IT-company in Sweden's own Silicon Valley and happily celebrate that we are on the gazelle list again this year. Working at TaxiCaller has allowed me to solve a plethora of different technical issues and to interact with clients around the globe, as well as co-workers from different cultures. No matter the challenge our team always rises to the occasion."

"Winning the title of 'one of the fastest-growing companies in Sweden' means so much more than growing sales numbers and financial success. It´s about facing global contemporary challenges with passion, team collaboration, and a genuine interest in innovation. We hope to continue inspiring many other local and national companies with our story."
-Bijona Troqe, Key Account Manager
"It's pretty tough to get one Gasell award; to get it two years in a row makes me really proud of the whole team. It's confirmation that our focus on our user-friendly Mobility as a Service platform is paying off. And we have so many exciting projects in the pipeline! We're really looking forward to bringing them to the market and growing further."
