Dispatch has never
been this easy

Dispatch

See every trip and step in before anything runs late

Follow your vehicles live, assign jobs by hand or automatically, and set up dispatch to match the way you work.

  • Every vehicle on the map, with its position and status in real time.
  • Estimated arrival times (ETAs) recalculated all along the route.
  • An alert when a stop is at risk of running late, so you can let the school, the carer or the passenger know in time.
  • Move, change and reassign jobs straight away.
  • Edit many bookings at once.
  • Off sick? Select the week in the calendar and cancel every trip with one click.
  • Taxi, hire car, school runs, NDIS and patient transport in one system.

Automatic dispatch

Jobs that dispatch themselves

  • Nearest car, zone queues, broadcast to several drivers or your own queues.
  • Rules by source, time, customer and vehicle attributes, built as a flowchart.
  • Your dispatchers only handle the exceptions.

Zone queues

Fair, and visible to drivers

  • Your area is split into zones, each with its own queue.
  • The driver who has waited longest in the zone gets the next job.
  • Drivers see the number of cars and jobs in every zone, and their own place in the queue.

Booking screen

A booking screen that fits your work

  • Drag in the fields and attributes you need, such as wheelchair, seats and needs.
  • Turn columns in the booking list on and off.
  • Only vehicles that meet the job’s requirements are suggested.

Live follow-up

Watch every run as it happens

  • Booked and estimated time for every pick-up and drop-off, updated all the time.
  • Delays show before they happen, and completed stops are ticked off.
  • No-shows are cancelled on the spot, with a note from the driver.

Chat

Talk to drivers without the radio

  • Message one driver or all of them straight from dispatch.
  • Drivers reply with voice messages or quick replies.
  • New information reaches drivers at once, without radio traffic.

Booking processor

Rules that handle the routine

  • Bookings are tagged and handled automatically when something happens, such as a late cancellation.
  • Tags and attributes are set by your own conditions.
  • Charges, such as for a late cancellation, carry through to invoicing.

Right now

Your whole fleet on one screen

  • Free, busy and on-break cars right now.
  • Empty kilometres, completed jobs and punctuality for the day.
  • The stops with the biggest delays, so you can see where planning needs to change.

”What I value most about TaxiCaller is the combination of support, flexibility and simplicity. If something changes, I can move a whole afternoon to another vehicle without changing every trip on its own. It saves an enormous amount of time and gives me full control. In our work, with daily services and special schools, every trip has to be right, so the system has to work with me, not against me.”
Anne Karlsson, dispatcher, Busspecialisten (Sweden)
”We have successfully turned our transport needs into a smooth booking solution. Their expertise and commitment exceeded all our expectations. A fantastic partnership that turned challenges into opportunities.”
Arash Moshayedi, IT and systems manager, Go-Ahead Sweden
”I made the decision to use TaxiCaller as our dispatch partner 24 hours into the trial. We could not have found it any easier.”

More questions? We're happy to help!

Can I connect my VoIP phone service to TaxiCaller so we can use the Caller ID function?
Yes! You need to make sure that the VoIP service you sign up with has support for the SIP standard, as this is the standard our system is using. Once you connect your VoIP service or PBX, you'll be able to have the booking forms autopopulate with the caller's details.
Can I prevent dispatchers from logging into the console from other devices than the PC?
Definitely! You can do that by entering the approved Ips into their profiles in the Admin Panel. This will prevent them from logging in from other devices that have different Ips.
If there are places with poor signal, will the dispatch console be updated once the signal comes back?
Yes! The system always has continuous communication with the driver's device. If the device should be unreachable, the system will still try to communicate with it. Once it succeeds, the location of the vehicle will be updated.
How does the system automatically assign jobs?
The system can automatically choose the most suitable vehicle for the job based on your settings. The system can use a "closest car" scheme, or you can utilize a zone and queue system where there's a FIFO scheme (First In - First Out), or you can have the jobs broadcasted to all or certain vehicles for drivers to bid on them.
Can multiple dispatchers log in at the same time?
Absolutely! You can have as many dispatchers online at the same time as you like. We only charge per vehicle per month, so there's no extra charge for adding several dispatchers. Although, it's important to note that a user can only be logged in to one place at a time.
